I've been tagged, I'm IT . . .

OK, I have been tagged by Joy. I love reading other people's posts about their quirky/random facts about personality, life, etc. So, I'll play along . . . I am really not that interesting, but I'll TRY to come up with 6 different random facts about myself.

1. I have never married, however I have been engaged . . . (anyone know of an awesome man 45-50 yo?)

2. I was very, very accident prone as a child. At least once, every summer, I was rushed to the ER! I have never broken a bone, but have had a slew of stitches, with the scars to prove it! (However, I think I turned out pretty coordinated!)

3. "Grace" is the spiritual meaning for my name, Nancy. (LOL, I just saw the connection between #2 & #3!)

4. I am an independent perfectionist with so many things . . . (I promise, I AM working on this one!)

5. I really do not like to shop (or is that because of the 20 lbs I have accumulated since adopting Nicholas?)

6. I don't love chocolate . . . But, I love pretzels with ice cream (maybe that is where the 20 lbs have come from!)

So, there you have it . . . Nancy's somewhat quirky side. Now who can I tag . . . Hey, what is it with everyone being tagged lately? . . .

Okay, I have been tagged . . . This is my 1st time in playing the Tag Game, so I will TRY!

6 quirks about me? Oh boy, this will probably be difficult, I'm really not that interesting (LOL)! But, here goes - I will TRY my best . . .

1. I HAVE to do my laundry in the following order. It is a "big loads 1st", then clothing in descending order of "dark to light". Wierd, I know! If I don't, I feel like I'm NOT organized for the upcoming week!!
towels & sheets
dark clothes
light clothes
whites w/o bleach
whites w/bleach
rugs

2. When I run, I have to count in my head during the 1st mile & last mile to take my mind off of the overwhelming thoughts of "This HURTS!"

3. I Love to mix pretzels in ice cream.

4. I haven’t worn heels to work in probably 2.5 years!

5. I don’t like the smell of a wood burning fireplace (makes me nauseous). But, I love a fireplace. So, gas it is for me. A plus is - no ashes!

6. I feel so guilty when I don’t reuse zip-lock bags.

See, I told you I'm not all that interesting! This has been fun, even if it has taken me over an hour to think of just 6 unique/quirky things about me! Too much pressure . . .
