Hello - from Dubai . . .

Made it to Dubai! 14 hour flight from Houston, TX. Flights were great! Emeriates airline was wonderful! No problems at all. Now, we are hanging out at the Dubai airport waiting for our flight to Islamabad!

WiFi was very easy to hook to, but this is what I saw when I logged on to post to the blog!

Travel Schedule . . .

Some have asked what our travel schedule looks like. So, here are the brief details . . .

Tulsa to Houston (2 hour layover)
Houston to Dubai (9 hour layover)
Dubai to Islamabad

We should arrive in Islamabad early Monday morning. There is an 11-hour forward time difference. So, Monday morning will be Sunday evening in Central Standard Time Zone. I kind of wish we had more time in Dubai (seems to be an amazing city & I would love to take a tour!!!)

In Pakistan, the adoptive parent (AP) has temp guardianship from the beginning. So, Sweet Pea will be brought to me on Monday whenever I am ready (can we all say NOW). But, realistically speaking, having gone through the travels to Russia with Nicholas, I know I will need rest first. So, SOMETIME on Monday Sweet Pea will be in my arms!!!!
